time to read

I like to read. I don't get to read as much as I'd like to these days, but I still keep up with the John Grisham and Mary Higgins Clark books. Josh gets them for me almost as soon as they come out. (I believe I'm all caught up.) I make the time to read those books; however, there is One Book that I haven't really been making time for...The Bible. Since I grew up in a Christian family, went to church, and attended a Christian school and college, I have read the Bible a lot, but to be honest, most of the time it's been a chore. However, this week I started reading Ruth (I don't know why...it just jumped out at me), and now I am in I Samuel. I already know "what happens" in these stories, so now I'm looking at the details and picturing what I read...it makes it more real and interesting.

I am ready for warm weather. When I thought about what I'll be doing this spring, I realized most of my time will be spent in our yard or at the playground. Justin LOVES playing outside, so we've been doing a lot of that this week since the weather has been decent. Today we made mudpies!

printing pictures

ok...so I love taking pictures (especially of my two boys), but all the pictures from the last 6 months have just been sitting in my computer. Josh had gotten me a bunch of frames for my birthday and Christmas, and tonight I finally took the time to crop and print some pictures...so I have pictures of my family in the frames instead of model families. Now I need more frames!
